Ping Yuen scrapbook : San Francisco, Calif., 1951.

Chiefly newspaper clippings relating to the opening of the Ping Yuen Housing Project, located in Chinatown, on Pacific near Grant Ave. Printed floorplan of a typical 3-bedroom apartment prepared by the San Francisco Housing Authority is pasted in the front of the album, which also contains a program from the dedication ceremonies. This includes a list of the furnishings in a model apartment and the list of project sponsors, as well as a photograph of Mayor Elmer Robinson and his wife having tea with H.K. and Susan Ann Wong of the Ti Sun Co., which outfitted the apartment. A photograph of the exterior detail on the building is laid-in.
